The Life in Christ Bible Church has a team of dynamic and friendly volunteers, committed to serving others. Faith without works is dead (James 2:26) and as followers of Christ, we want to live our faith and commit ourselves to those who need us.
Jesus went to where there were needs and we want to do the same. It is also our way to spread His love, who has loved us first and loves unconditionally.
Our goal: to provide our brothers and sisters experience warm and positive worship and honor God through the mission that He has entrusted. This commitment is a pillar of our church, to deepen our fraternal bonds.
Within our own neighborhoods are people who are sick, oppressed, and without resources. We are not without the homeless, jobless, refugees / immigrants, widows and orphans.
We are called to make efforts to improve the lives of these people, making them good in our means.
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’ 37 “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? 39 When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’ (Matthew 25.33-40)
Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith. (Galatians 6:10)
